Texas Early Voting Ends

With less than nine days until November 4th elections, SVREP urges to you vote in the Texas mid-term elections. We ask that you vote early or on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.

For the first time in over 20 years, Texas has several open seats at the top of the ballot. No incumbent has a lock on these seats and your vote can determine who wins this election.

That is why, we ask that you vote and that you urge your family, friends and neighbors to cast their vote this election.

You will decide with your vote who will be elected to these

Texas Constitutional Offices:

· Governor

· Lt. Governor

· Attorney General

· Comptroller of Public Accounts

· Commissioner of the General Land Office

Important Dates: Early vote runs from today to Friday October 31st.
Election Day is on Tuesday, November 4th. Polls open at 7 am and close at 7pm.

Texas voter ID Law

To vote this election you must have a valid photo identification:

· Driver license

· Texas Election ID Certificate issued by DPS

· Texas Personal ID card issued by DPS

· Texas Concealed Handgun License card issued by DPS

· US Military ID card with photo

· US Citizenship Certificate with photo

· US Passport with photo

With the exception of US citizenship certificate, the ID must be current or have expired no more than 60 days.

If you do not have an valid photo ID when you vote, you can vote with a provisional ballot.

However, you must return to the elections office with a valid photo ID for your vote to count within 6 days of the election.
